AI-nation, "AI Bootcamp for Developers"
A 3-month online bootcamp that teaches middle and senior developers to build AI-driven development into their work: 15 practice-first webinars, three cohorts launched, bootcamp CSI 87% → 89%, completion 60% → 71%.
About the course
A 3-month bootcamp for middle and senior developers and their teams on building AI-driven development into their work, up to scaling AI practices across a team. 15 lessons as 2–3-hour webinars, one or two a week; every lesson is built around a real case, with only as much theory as the case needs. The content came from the experts: an ex-CTO of T-Bank and director of the SymbioWay recruitment centre, an ex-PM of Yandex Cloud and a Google staff engineer.
I ran the product as product manager and LXD, shared the producer role with the CEO and set tasks for a team of four (SMM, video editing, production, project management). Four months of preparation came before the first cohort. Three cohorts have launched with 110 seats sold: 35, 29 and 46; the third runs until December 2026.
ADDIE: my part
Analysis
Involved: Ran an analytical campaign from two sides: conversations with industry experts and open data about the developers themselves.
With the experts I drafted the programme and calibrated the target developer level against an available target-audience base and a recruiting agency's CV base; 16 senior engineers, team leads and C-level managers validated the programme iteratively. From open data I checked demand for topics: exported developers' chat histories to JSON and ranked the topics by how often they came up, with Claude.
Design
Involved: Designed the programme with ADDIE and backward design: the experts defined the content and I designed the bootcamp: positioning, tone, structure and 15 practice-first lessons, with only as much theory as the case needs. Cases were the core entity the programme was built from.
Development
Involved: Designed and assembled the lessons around the experts' content. Built the LMS library: detailed lesson descriptions, every file from each recording (a cleaned-up transcript, the slides, the videos), practice briefs and extra materials.
Implementation
Involved: Took three cohorts through launch: 35 seats (April–July 2026), 29 (July–September) and 46 (October–December, running). Ran an n8n Telegram support bot that holds all student communication.
Evaluation
Involved: Measured bootcamp CSI (87% in cohort 1, 89% in cohort 2) and completion on the platform (60%, then 71%). 21 of 33 learners in cohort 1 and 16 of 29 in cohort 2 watched more than half of the lessons; average webinar attendance was 22. Tracked outcomes at work: participants put 26 practices into their real processes, 12 in cohort 1 and 14 in cohort 2.
Turned feedback from learners and experts into revisions. After cohort 1: added agent harness and security topics, and the experts added more worked examples. After cohort 2: added MCP development for business and managing agent systems (Pi, Orca). In the LMS library: clickable timestamps, detailed lesson descriptions and a mobile-friendly layout.
