Telegram Mini App for participants of in-person offsites: profiles, voting for the most valuable participants, a participant dashboard that tracks vote manipulation, and an admin panel.

Idea

A Telegram Mini App for peer-to-peer connections between participants of in-person offsites. It keeps participant profiles (role, company, what they can help with, tags), shows past, active and upcoming offsites, and lets fellow participants give 'karma' for useful contributions during reviews.

The admin panel manages offsites and participants (three categories per offsite, automatic deactivation by date) and monitors voting (who voted for whom, when and how often) to catch self-votes and suspicious repeat votes; it also shows a rating for each offsite and an overall rating across all of them. I built the app solo, front to back, in about a week and with tests. Stack: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PostgreSQL on Railway, Telegram Mini Apps, Git and Vercel.

Business impact

About 30 daily users across an offsite week, with no outages or complaints. The karma leaderboard gave the first behavioural signal for an ambassador tier: the top three by karma came back for the next offsite.
